Even Don Salvador Benedicto faced challenges, as vegetation obstructed some of the towers.

Recognizing the magnitude of the situation, Negros Power increased its emergency response capacity. From 16 regular line teams, the company boosted deployment to 38 teams (RESPONSE TEAM 17; QUICK RESPONSE TEAM-5; LINES TEAM-7; METERING TEAM-6; SLR TEAM -3), adding eight new response groups. “We also have nine previous teams with 4 line trucks actively addressing various troubles across Central Negros,” Tambanillo detailed.
