Miss Bacolod MassKara 2026: Talent, Press Presentation and the Road to the Crown
BACOLOD CITY — The excitement surrounding Miss Bacolod MassKara 2026 moved up another notch as the 15 candidates took the spotlight during the Talent Competition and Press Presentation at Ayala Malls Capitol Central.
For Fabulous Asian Lifestyle, the event offered an opportunity not only to meet this year’s candidates but also to take part in the press presentation in a more interactive way.
This year, members of both the legacy media and online media communities were invited to go up on stage and personally ask questions to the candidates—giving the press presentation a more dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
And yes, Fabulous Asian Lifestyle got its own little share of the stage, with yours truly given the opportunity to ask questions to two of the candidates.

THE QUESTIONS [ Miss Bacolod MassKara 2026 ]
The Press Presentation brought a different kind of challenge.
Instead of simply performing, the candidates had to think, listen and respond.
For this year’s presentation, selected members of the legacy and online media went up on stage to ask questions directly to the candidates.
It created a more spontaneous exchange between the contestants and the media—and gave the audience a closer look at how the candidates handled themselves when placed on the spot.
For Fabulous Asian Lifestyle, I had the opportunity to ask questions to two candidates: Candidate No. 13 Krizza May L. Fernando of Barangay Cabug and Candidate No. 15 Kyla C. Aligaga of Barangay Pahanocoy.
It was a privilege to interact with them onstage and hear their responses firsthand.
KRIZZA MAY L. FERNANDO OF CABUG
One of the candidates I interviewed was Krizza May L. Fernando of Barangay Cabug.
Krizza later received the Online Media’s Muse of Choice recognition during the press presentation, making her one of the candidates who particularly connected with the online media community.
For me, it was a nice coincidence to have had the opportunity to ask her a question before seeing her receive the special recognition.
Congratulations, Krizza! 👑
KYLA C. ALIGAGA OF PAHANOCOY
I also had the opportunity to ask a question to Kyla C. Aligaga of Barangay Pahanocoy.
The press presentation gave Kyla, like all the other candidates, a chance to show not only her stage presence but also how she communicates and expresses herself when faced with a question from the media.
These moments are often what make a press presentation particularly interesting. The audience gets to see something beyond the prepared performances and polished photographs—the candidates’ personalities begin to emerge.

TALENT TAKES CENTER STAGE [ Miss Bacolod MassKara 2026 ]
After the Press Presentation, the candidates started showcasing their talents, giving the audience an opportunity to see another side of the women behind the sashes.
Talent competitions are always an interesting part of a pageant because they provide candidates with a different platform to express themselves. Beyond beauty and stage presence, this is where creativity, confidence and individuality can take center stage.
And with 15 candidates bringing different personalities and talents to the competition, the evening offered plenty for the audience to watch and remember.

The Talent Competition and Press Presentation were hosted by Dani Dingcong and Ysabella Visitacion Wuthrich, the First Runner-Up of Miss Bacolod MassKara 2025, who helped keep the program moving with the energy expected of a MassKara event.
THE ROAD TO CORONATION NIGHT
The Press Presentation is only one of several major activities leading to the much-anticipated coronation.
The candidates will next take on the Festival Costume Competition on October 4, followed by Corporate Day on October 9.
Then comes the night everyone will be waiting for:
