Fiesta Celebration Becomes More Meaningful in Silay
Residents of Hda. Imbang Mesa in Barangay Bagtic, Silay City celebrated a more meaningful fiesta this year after Negros Power fulfilled its promise to the community for achieving one full year without power disconnections among all 120 households.
The community, which became part of the Negros Power Sitio Electrification Program last year, received a cash incentive during the fiesta celebration last May 8 as recognition for maintaining good standing accounts and responsible electricity consumption.
The incentive was used by residents to support fiesta activities, making the annual celebration even more memorable for families in the sitio.
“We are very happy to see that the residents of Hda. Imbang Mesa valued this opportunity and worked together for one whole year without disconnections. This proves that when the community cooperates, everyone benefits,” Tambanillo said.
