Two Seminars, One Mission: Inspiring Victoria’s Scholars Through Transformative Trainings
This June, I had the privilege of conducting not just one, but two impactful seminars for the scholars of the City of Victorias at CPSU Victorias Campus—an experience made even richer with Archimedes Valderrama joining as another speaker. As a consultant and trainer, these back-to-back training activities allowed me to channel my passion for empowering young minds, providing them with tools and inspiration to face their future with confidence and purpose.
Preparing for the Job Interviews: From Graduate to Professional | Transformative Trainings For Victorias Scholars
The first seminar, “Preparing for the Job Interviews,” was meticulously designed for newly graduated scholars about to embark on their professional journeys. My approach was immersive and practical, blending personality development exercises, resume-building workshops, and a realistic mock interview. Watching participants transform—from tentative graduates into self-assured job seekers—was a powerful reminder of why I do what I do. Every handshake, every revised resume, and every confident answer in our mock interviews was a testament to the scholars’ growth and readiness to take on the world.
Leadership Training: Cultivating Tomorrow’s Leaders | Transformative Trainings For Victorias Scholars
The second seminar shifted the spotlight to our third-year scholars, focusing on leadership—a skillset essential not just in the workplace, but in every sphere of life. Through interactive discussions, group activities, and real-world scenarios, I guided participants in exploring the core of authentic leadership: empathy, vision, and integrity. The energy in the room was palpable as scholars discovered their leadership styles and the impact they could have on their communities. These moments of realization and ambition are what make training so rewarding for me as a consultant.
A Showcase of Commitment and Connection
Conducting these two seminars back-to-back was more than a professional engagement; it was a deeply personal mission. Each session reaffirmed my conviction in the transformative power of education and mentorship. As a trainer, I strive not just to impart knowledge, but to ignite a sense of possibility and purpose in every participant12. The City of Victoria’s ongoing investment in holistic scholar development aligns perfectly with my values as a consultant, ensuring that our youth are not only academically prepared but also equipped with the confidence and leadership skills needed to thrive.
Every training I conduct is an opportunity to build personal connections, inspire change, and leave a lasting imprint on the next generation. Seeing the spark of confidence and ambition in these scholars is my greatest reward, and it fuels my ongoing commitment to helping young people realize their full potential.
