Recently, I had the pleasure of attending an exclusive media presentation held at Primos that offered an insightful, up-close look at NUSTAR Resort & Casino Cebu—a premier integrated resort I had the chance to visit myself last year. Having already experienced the impressive scale and sophistication of NUSTAR firsthand, the presentation deepened my appreciation of how this world-class destination is bringing luxury, entertainment, and lifestyle closer to all of us here in the Visayas.

Reflecting on My Visit to NUSTAR

During my visit last year, I was truly captivated by NUSTAR’s architectural grandeur, its elegant hotels, and immersive amenities. The recently opened ultra-luxury NUSTAR Hotel, listed in the Michelin Guide, and the culturally rich Fili Hotel, with its uniquely Filipino hospitality, stood out as landmarks of luxury and pride. The resort’s position against the breathtaking backdrop of the Mactan Strait and Cebu skyline made the experience all the more memorable.

Last night’s event, featuring Ms. Katrina Mae de Jesus, Assistant Vice President for Business Development, provided a fresh perspective on the vision and growth of the property Hearing about their strategic goals to enhance tourism and economic development via innovative offerings like the Rewards program underscored how much thought and dedication go into creating lasting, rewarding experiences for both locals and visitors.
